How do I move a blog between Google accounts with Adsense

Most of the people create a blog with only one Google Account but then decide they’d like to move the blog to another Google. But what about the Adsense ID which associated with your First account. Now you can move your blog to different gmail account with Adsense & organize the things well.

  1. Sign in to Blogger with Account 1, which we’ll assume is the account containing the blog.
  2. Go to the Settings | Permissions tab.
  3. Click the Add Authors button and send an invitation to the owner of Account 2, the account to which you’d like to move the blog.
  4. Wait for the owner of Account 2 to accept the invitation. If you’re sharing a computer, you’ll need to sign out of Account 1 first, or each use a different browser.
  5. Once Account 2 has joined the blog, Account 1 can log in again and go back to the Settings | Permissions tab.
  6. Click the grand admin privileges link next to Account 2.
  7. Now…with Google, set up the second account Account2 for Google adsense account where you want to transfer the blog.
  8. Now, this is very important part. You can not remove the first account as its still associated with Google Adsense. You have to change the Adsense id & put the new Adsense id for Account2. To do this, Go to Page Element tab from Template, click on Adsense page element. Scroll down to see “Use different adsense account”. Click on it & enter account details of second account.
Note: The second account must have adsense publisher id.

  9. Now login with Account2, Click the remove link next to Account 1. The account that is left now is the administrator with adsense id working on blog. It will be on your Dashboard with full administrative access. Hurray :)
