Rapidshare Happy Hours is the period of time when Rapidshare allows downloading a files without filling out the CAPTCHA.(the annoying Rapidshare ‘Cats’) and no waiting time if the servers can handle the download.

Rapidshare Happy Hours are active between 0:00 - 18:00 UTC+1 on Mondays to Fridays and 0:00 - 14:00 UTC+1 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Here are some useful tools which notifies the user when the Rapidshare Happy Hour is active.

Rapidshare Happy Hours Notifier is Firefox extension that checks Rapidshare at regular intervals for happy hours and would display a message to inform the user whenever Happy hours are active. This add-on is compatible with Firefox 1.5 – 3.0 Downlaod

RapidShare HappyHour-Checker is small tool will notify you whenever Happy Hours have been active. It will run in your task bar tray and is even capable of playing an audio file whenever it detects happy hours. You must have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 before you install this tool.
