Ymail.com and Rocketmail.com - New Yahoo! Mail Addresses

“We have surveyed many of our users as they come out of the registration process and … many of them indicate that they do not have the Yahoo ID or Yahoo e-mail that they really want,” John Kremer, vice president of Yahoo Mail, said in a phone interview.
Neither name is particularly new for Yahoo, Kremer said. Ymail has been around for awhile on the mobile front, and Rocketmail goes back to 1997 when Yahoo acquired Four11 Corporation, which owned the Web-based e-mail Rocketmail.
